Group reject turbine plan

Severn Trent Water wants to put up the 130-metre high turbines at Aston Hall Farm, near Stone.
But residents say noise from the turbines, which are planned between the villages of Aston-by-Stone and Burston, could spark tinnitus, sleep disturbance and migraines, while property values will drop by up to 30 per cent and wildlife will be disrupted.
Now the new seven-strong action group committee is meeting tomorrow to work out its plan of action.
Chairman Paul Shaw, of Burston Village Farm, said: "I am delighted that everyone is willing to support us and contribute to a fighting fund."
Severn Trent plans to submit a planning application for a test pole on the site later this month.
